My instrument panel lights shut off along with the rear left tail light lamp. The fuse was blown, so I replaced the 5a fuse. The panel lights and the rear left lights turned back on. Two days later the same thing all over again only difference is that the fuse is still good. What should I check next?

First of all the dash lights and tail lights are not fused, they are controlled by the light switch and the light switch is not fused either, try messing around with your light switch, and your dash dimmer switch and see if they come back on, it sounds to me like a bad light switch, I would also check that fuse #5 that you said was blown and find out what it goes to. I am in the processes of moving and all my manuals are packed away but I will try to get more information for you.

Unfortunately I still have the problem. I was thinking that is could be a bad relay or circuit breaker. I couldn't find a diagram and functions of the relay/circuit breaker to double check if my idea could be right. Does that idea make any cense? Could help me as to what I could do next to solve the problem?
