1996 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 150k miles

i have a 96 vw jetta with no spark. It all started when a mechanic replacd the cyl head gasket the it didnt start, he said it was the ecm and he replaced it tand it worked fine for 1 day the he said it needed another ecm again.

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
