1996 Volkswagen Jetta no spark

Electrical problem
1996 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 150k miles

96 jetta has no spark. It started when a mtech replaced the cyl head gasket and the it didnt start, he said it was the ecm so he replaced the ecm and worked fine for 1 day then again no spark, he said it needs another ecm . I said sure ill got to the market and buy 2 ecms so he can play. HELPPPPP

OK so did you check to make sure no wires got pinched when the head was put back on? Did all the electrical grounds get but back in place? Did everything get pluged back in? Let me know what you can and we will go from there.

Ok I spoke with my friend and he said that evrything started when he lost his keys and had another key made, then the car didnt crank so he installed a starter button, , now my question is how do I bypass the antitheft computer?

Ok you need to get the right key and have it programed to accept that key and put it back to being right. There is no real easy way to bypass an alarm system as it tied into the system.

Ok but the thing is that this guy said the key is a regular key and that it was working fine for some time
