my speedometer and tachometer cuts in and out. What could it be?

I have the same problem I still can't figure it out. Some people think it could just be the wires.

I figured it out. There was a wire in the cluster itself that went bad. I had to replace the whole cluster. To find out this yr and model all have a problem with that. Some are the cluster some are the speed sencer.
