Hey, I have a 94 VW that has been running great. Over the last two months it started to stall. I took it to a few diffr places. Got a new distr cap, sparkplugs and finally a they thought it was the sensor that regualtes air and fuel intake. So it ran great for a full month since then and now has started to stall again. Only when I am stoped in drive. They are saying my car is in great shape and have checked "everything" Any ideas? I love my car but can't keep driving something that keeps dying on me like this.

Okay. Sorry if I dont get this right. The injection system is fuel injected. If thats what you mean, The engine variant however I am not sure what you mean. It is an auto, 4 cylndr, 1984 cc engine. Hope that helps. Thanks!

Sorry if I was too technical.

Engine variant meant the type of engine. 1984 so that means a 2.0 liter.

Injection type = injection system used, Motronic etc. Will check it out and see what I can come up with.

Its ok. We do not know the technical level of the person asking the question and if we go in with too basic stuff, it sometimes backfire on us. ;)

Does your engine look someting like this?

Is there any Check Engine Light showing?

When idling speed is incorrect, engine would tend to stall. The most common fault would be the Idle Air Control valve. Get it cleaned and problem might be resolved.
