1994 Volkswagen Golf 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to start my vehicle. When I turn the key the car sounds like it wants to start but yet it does not get the extra ump it needs to turn over. Battery is still good, I drove it two days ago and it started up just fine, now it refuses to start after sitting for a couple days. The only thing that has changed is the temperature out side.

Batterys are greatly effectied by temp. Ability to supply enough amps. Is greatly deminished by temp. Full charge batt at 32 deg will loose 25% at 0 50%or more. So if batt is marginal and or has less the 500CCA rating you will experience slow crank no start.
