Good evening, i currently own the car listed above (SXT model) and my issue is that the car runs and drives great but whenever i come to a stop at a light or stop sign the car has a pretty bad vibration or could be a shutter shakes the whole car. I have done a lot of work to the car time and money went into this thing. I have replaced the motor mounts including the hidden one on the right-side lower mount that most neon owners don't know about. I have cleaned the throttle body, checked for vacuum leaks and other things. My question is, what else should i look for and how to fix it? I can put the car in neutral and the car stops vibrating. Only does this only at a complete stop.

Good morning,

This sounds like the front motor mount is worn out.

There are upper and lower mounts for the motor but there is also a mount to the strut tower. That is the one when it is worn out, it will cause a vibration.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I want to warn you that this mount is tough to replace if you have never done it before. It is extremely tight to access.
