I'm getting a vibration in my car's accelerator, center console, floor on both driver and passenger, and dash when accelerating or keeping a steady acceleration like driving on a highway over a distance. Speeds 30 MPH to 80 MPH, feeling it more on highway speeds of 50+ MPH. Just had new tires and brakes installed 3,000 miles ago. Not a tire balance issue, had 3 tire balances rotations and 1 alignment within the past 5 weeks. What other things can this be?

Hi,

First, if this was put into service after today's date, it is still under warranty. You may want to see a dealership.

Now, if you feel a vibration, is there anything that changes it? For example, if you touch the brake pedal, does the vibration change? Also, do you feel it at all times over 30 MPH or does it go away when you let off the throttle?

Let me know as much as you can. Just to give you an idea, it could be an axle issue, CV joint, brakes hanging up, and the list goes on.

Take care and I'll watch for your reply.

Joe
