Hello, The vents in my car stick in one position most of the time. Either it sticks on the feet or the center vents. Every so often it does switch to another mode but I have not been able to determine why it switches when it does. Thanks!

Hello, I am Danny.

It sounds like you are having a problem with the blend/mode door actuator. It is an electric motor that controls the air flow through the certain ducts in the HVAC box. It is located behind the glove box and I have attached a picture of its location. I have also attached a tutorial showing what is involved for its replacement.

Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thanks Danny! Would you happen to know the part number for that? I can find a lot of actuators for the heat/AC, but not for the vent blend mode.

Hello again.

From what I found here is the Honda dealer part number for the mode actuator. #79140-SWA-A01. It lists for $124.16. Hope that helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
