It was running. Checked fuses to see if any needed replacing, saw that some were correct and some weren't, so I put them all correct now it will not start. Help

Hi,

Were the fuses removed while the vehicle was running? At this point, does the starter engage when trying to start it or does nothing happen?

If it is the starter, take a look through this link. It explains how to test and repair a starter.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/starter-not-working-repair

If the starter is working, see if it starts for a couple of seconds with starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it's a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, then suspect the ignition system. Here is a link that explains how to check for spark:

Let me know as much as you can.

Take care,

Joe

Joe, let me clarify. By checking the fuses, I pulled each one individually and inspected to see if they were blown. I may have had a few out at the same time.

Do you have a security light flashing? If so, it will cause this issue. this guide should help you reset it:

Please run down this guide and report back.

Ken L, no, the security light doesn't flash. It's lit continuously. I bought an obd1 reader but can't find the port. I've looked under the dash on the driver's side and under the hood by the ECM and all on the fire wall. Also, I know that it's "L" shaped.
