Ok. I was drivjng. Jeep was running great. Then died. Had it towed home. Checked saw we have spark. Coil is good. We have fuel at the rail. And timing marks line up. And we have great compression. No cel light.. We changed coil. Cap and button. Wires and plugs. We also tried starting fluid in the tb and still nothing so we no its not a fuel problem. Could it be the crank or cam sensor if we have spark. We are all lost. We were told if we have spark then it's not the cam or crank sensor. Is this true.

Yes, if the crank sensor has failed then there would be no spark.
Is there an aftermarket alarm system installed in the vehicle?
When the engine died did is stumble and stall or did the engine suddenly stop?
How did you check the timing marks?

I checked the marks by taking off the timing cover. No aftermarket alarm. So there's no way I could be the crank sensor with spark huh. I'm lost for words. I dont know what else to check.

When it died I was pulling off from a stop light and it kinda back fired and just cutbout. Then I rolled to a stop. I could see the mph Guage just going down till I stoped. I think I may be the computer.

Lucky we had the timing cover and valve cover off. My friend heard of this as I read it to him so he knew what you were talking about. Everything is still the same. OTHER THAN WE GOT OIL EVERYTHING BUT earlier tonight we did do a compression check and the lowest cylinder 3 was 110. The engine is reman from chrysler. It wants to start. Is it possible the crank sensor is not telling the ecm when to fire at the right time and pulse injectors at the right time also

It want ever start with staring fluid either. I think it may be the crank senor is out or shorted. It do have spark. It may just not be enough spark and the plugs are wet. I think it mah be cross firing as a mechanic said. 2 different garages got tired and said they can't fix it.
