2003 Vauxhall Vectra Front Wheel Drive Manual 105000 miles

Hi, I have a problem with my car, when I get in and close the door and turn on the ignition, it signals to me that my door is still open but its not. So when I get out and lock my car up, im not able to because the vectras don't lock when the drivers door is open, any ideas what it could be. Thanks

The door ajar switch is located in the door latch mechanism. Try spraying the latch with a good lubricant an opening and closing the door a few times. Or replace the switch !
