Iv had a ABS light on telling me I need a new right front wheel speed sensor.

Hello,

I would suggest to first check the ABS system using a diagnostic scan tool. Any relevant fault codes could then be properly addressed.

I would suggest that you inspect the wiring from the wheel speed sensor to the ABS module. Often the wiring is damaged by the tyre if it is not correctly routed. Please see images below for sensor location and wiring routing.
