When the engine stalls it starts immediately or must be cooldown to turn on again?

Starts immediately. I think it may be due to the ignition.

Yes it can be related to ignition switch but instrument cluster lights turns off also, if this happening check the ignition switch connector for loose wire, vehicle stationary engine running try to shake the ignition switch and its wires. If problem occurs then we narrow down the issue between ignition switch and the wires.

Please send us more information about the GMC Savana what type (1 ton, 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton)and the engine size, to send you the procedure with diagrams how to remove and reinstall ignition switch.
