I recently purchased this van, and is a good van so far, but for some reason, when the gas gauge shows around an eighth of a tank, the van will suddenly shut off. If I pull over and wait a few minutes, the van will start back up and drive for a few more miles, before shutting off again. This process will go on long enough to get to a station, or at least out of the immediate way of traffic, but both analogue gauge and digital fuel miles display will read that I have at least an eighth of a tank. Is this some kind of recall on the van, or maybe it's not adjusted correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Good evening,

There is no adjustment for the gauge.

Good chance the float is the issue in the tank not reading correctly. Most likely will need to be replaced to get it to read accurately.

Otherwise, do not let it get that low and re fuel accordingly.

Just to add, you will need to replace the sender unit assembly not just the float.
