We put a new intake my son didn't label the vacuum connections. When I plug everything in where I think they go it starts fine but idles at about 3,500 RPMs, can't get it to go lower. Any ideas?

Hi,

I attached a few pics below. I highlighted four things in the pic related to vacuum and the intake. My one concern is the PCV was left disconnected, or the hose was damaged. I believe on this engine; the intake needs to be removed to access it. See pic 3.

If you find everything is good, here is a link you may find helpful. It explains how to locate and repair an engine vacuum leak.

Let me know what you find or if I can help.

Take care,

Joe
