I watched a video online which said you can test your mass airflow sensor by unplugging it with you car running. I did this, the car shut off instantly, and now it will not start (with or without the MAF plugged in). Any ideas?

Thanks

Just sorted it. Kept the engine turning for a good ten seconds, gave it some gas and slowly came to life.

That test works on some cars, on others it shuts them down because the computer just starts dumping in fuel and floods the engine.
