My r33 gts-t was feeling like when I would be driving that it was not getting boost and picking up speed as it usually would. It would reach boost but would not push out the power and pick up speed.

I have then been driving it and as I have been going along I have lost ability to accelerate. It would just rev and not do anything. I could smell something "burning" when I got out. I have not been able to drive it. It feels and sounds like it goes into gear when engine is off but if I put it "in gear" and start it, It does not hop forward like a car in gear usually would. When its on I can shift it and it does not grind or anything. If I sort of double clutch then it will grind sometimes.

Any ideas of what it would be so I can get it found and fixed?

Cheers

Hello,

To things come to mind for this problem, first is the turbo is worn out and will not boost anymore. To check this check the end play of the turbo shaft.

Here is a guide that will show you:

and next is a plugged catalytic converter. Here is a guide to help you with that.

and

Please run some tests and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.
