Turn signal not working

The right rear turn signal was not operating. I am getting a "hyper-flash" indication when I use the right turn signal. I switched bulbs with the left side with the same result. In other words, the bulb is not the problem. I replaced the flasher with the correct Toyota part (81980-53020) which is the correct replacement for the original flasher (81980-50020). Same result. The right rear turn signal does not work, which indicates to me that there is no power to the right rear bulb socket. The front right turn signal works fine. What do I do now?

Hello, I am Danny.

Have you checked the connection at the bulb socket? Does it have a good ground? I would check the connection for loose/burnt/corroded possibilities. I have attached a tutorial showing what is involved. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
