One of my turn signals is blinking rapidly. I have changed the bulb twice, but it continues to do it. To my knowledge, there is no relay for my car. It seems to do it consistently when my headlights are on, but it does happen when they are off. There are times when I would use the signal and it would blink rapidly, but suddenly start working properly.

When the symptoms are different depending on whether the head lights are on or off, it is almost always a bad ground issue. Follow the wires from the socket to see if the one bolted to the body is cut.

Would you happen to know where it would be grounded? I can see about 10 inches of wires before I lose track of them.

These system ground are almost always by the incoming wiring harness near the main body mounts follow the harness until you see a black wire break out of the loom. Also, check the ground at the socket this is were the circuit usually goes bad.

here is a guide, to test it.
