Hi,

Since I got this car from my sister the remote trunk release won't work, both in the dash and the key remote.
Whenever I press the trunk release button in the dash it does not pop up the trunk. When I try the trunk release button in the key, nothing happens.
Remote Lock/unlock works though both in my 3 button key and dash button.

What i've tried so far is check the trunk release actuator and line from the actuator going the the rear seat pse pump. Everything is good no leaks.

I know it is not a big deal since you can just press the button in the trunk key slot to open the trunk but it just feels great when everything is working.

Thanks in advance.

The way to figure this out is to check voltage on the three wires at the switch. Two are power wires from each source of where it was pressed. Either the button on the key or the interior switch.

I attached the wiring diagram below but I suspect you have an issue with the actuator or the ground if neither of them work but let's just make sure you have voltage there and we can go from there.

Thanks

Hello,

Yes, the issue found with actuator, it was replaced before, the fixed one found missing a piece that pull up the trunk to open, dash switch and the remote are working fine, thanks for the help, appreciate it always.
