Truck suddenly wont start

The truck suddenly wont start. It wont turn over at all. It makes a very load clicking noise somewhere close to the battery but it is not the battery. I had to push start it (pop the clutch).

Check for power at the main starter cable, it should be battery voltage, check for battery voltage at the starter solenoid wire with the key on crank, and if ok re check main terminal with the key on crank to see if there is a serious voltage drop, if all ok remove starter and get inspected.

Re post if you get stuck you will need a multi meter to take the voltage readings
