1999 Ford F-150 won't start, won't turn over, nothing at all

1999 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 280K miles

I need your help please. Truck won't start at all, won't turn over, nothing, no clicking sound that the battery is dead. Radio works, lights are on, just won't start. Let it sit for a few hours, and it started fine, drove fine, no problems. Shut it off, same thing, won't start again. Any ideas?

Clean and tighten the battery cable connections at the battery, starter relay and starter, with someone holding the key in the on position hit the starter with a hammer, does it turn? If so you have a frozen starter.

If still nothing id change the starter relay.
