My son was driving my truck he said it just stalled. Parts I replaced: fuel pump, PCM, crank sensor, plugs, battery, check out the timing chain okay. Getting fuel pressure okay. Compressing okay. Getting spark to the plugs. Will not even back fire, spray starting fluid in it noting. In the beginning it did have a engine code crank sensor so I replaced that, but it still won't start. It a 4.0 litter OHV engine. Transmission was rebuild two years age. Any help I'm at my wit's end!

Good afternoon,

Did you verify spark? Check for spark to the plugs.

Are there any codes stored?

What was the compression?

Any codes stored? On demand test codes? If the base engine compression and timing is good, verify all the grounds are good also. Use a jumper cable and go from the battery negative to the frame and also verify that the ground on the firewall at the PCM is good and clean.

Did you check the compression and check for spark?

You need to check basics first before going to another area.
