I've gone through all of the grounds, and even ran new grounds to throttle control module. The truck ran good for about 2 hours, then it shut down again. When it shuts down, it will not turn off with the key. New ignition parts. Turn the key off, open door and wait till it chokes out. The truck would run great after I cleared the code. Sometimes it would run for a few seconds and others it would go for 5 minutes, before the throttle would stop working. ECM has been reprogrammed. All I get for answers is to just change all electronic control modules. TCM and BCM are each 200 to reprogram, after purchase.

I would start by checking the power and grounds to the PCM which this code is pointing to. Also, you can send the PCM in for testing because it sounds bad, the fact you can reset the system and it works for a while is a classic sign the PCM is bad.

The U0107 error code communication problem between the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the Transmission Control Module (TCM).

Here is how to change the PCM out, you can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay.

Thanks for your help. When I got the truck, it had all kinds of electrical issues, so I got a used ECM/PCM? And the guy reprogrammed both, so I have a spare I can put in the truck. Today, before I saw this post, I was going over the electrical connections and wires with a mechanical friend. We were in the truck, codes cleared, and I hit the ac compressor switch. That caused an immediate u0107 and reduced power. I cleared the codes, and it all ran good for a minute. I turned off the A/C, and the truck shut off again. It seems to be connected to the A/C compressor activating and shutting down. I am kind of leaning towards a bad BCM, because of the effect the A/C switch is having. I'll swap out the ECM and get back to you.

And just for reference, this is the B code engine. ECM and PCM, I believe are the same thing in this instance.

I tried my original ECM that has been reprogramed and passed the testing when it was done, and there is no change. I actually had to clear the code when I installed it, which seems strange to me. When I cleared it, it ran for a couple seconds, and the code appeared again. When I look it up it says lost communication with Throttle Actuator Control Module, not Transmission Control.

Okay, we are getting closer I would replace the Throttle Actuator Control Module. Here it is for $78.00:

I tried a different Throttle body, and it made no difference. That link is for a throttle body, not the Throttle actuator Module. I just got back from a auto salvage yard and grabbed a used TAC module. It has the same numbers on it so i'm going to try it with out programming.

It sounds like the PCM is bad, but here are the grounds and power inputs to be sure.

This guide can help:

The ECM is new-used. The original that was in the truck when I got it. It has been updated. The truck runs fine with the Heater controls unplugged. As soon as you plug in the main plug it can cause the u0107. Engaging the ac compressor will shut the engine down immediately. I drove around a bunch today and without that thing plugged in, it runs fine. Going through all of the compressors hook up to make sure it's good.

I have seen the compressor clutch coil short out and cause problems, but it sounds like the HVAC controller is shorted out. Did you do a CAN scan? You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

here is a video to show you how:

This is the scan tool I have.

https://www.amazon.ca/LAUNCH-Reader-Automotive-Diagnostic-Functions/dp/B07N6H7VH9/ref=sr_1_8?
crid=3KI66MP3DG9VB&keywords=CAN+scan+tool&qid=1691036384&sprefix=can+scan+tool+%2Caps%2C485&sr=8-8

It is listed as a CAN diagnostic scan tool. I don't know how to scan the CAN. The code reader link you listed as a can scanner, but I can't find any information online, as to how it does a scan. or how to start it. I read the manuals over and that particular function is not listed. I've got no problem buying a better scan tool as mine has paid for itself a thousand times over.

And as soon as I can I'm going to check the A/C compressor for any shorts in the wiring.
