Distributor issue

It turns on but wont stay on unless I two foot it. It started happening after I drove through a water puddle. Any options on what could be causing it?

If it is stumbling/ spitting/ backfiring it maybe that you got water in the distributor cap.
Pop the top off of the distributor cap and look for moisture If it is present use a can of WD-40 to wash it out (not the whole can!) Shake it out, does not have to be completely dry.

Reassemble and give it a try!
