My truck will have trouble starting after sitting for more than 4 hours. It turns over but doesn’t catch. I have to flip the key 3 time and then it’ll start. Once it’s running it runs perfect but sometimes it shuts off in park or reverse. Check engine light is off and it’s not producing any codes. The fuel pump was replaced and a year and a half ago as well.

This sounds like a fuel pressure issue so just because the pump was replaced doesn't mean it has not failed again.

Here are a couple guides that will get us started but I think we need to start with checking the fuel pressure.

Once we know what the pressure is, we can take the next steps but the fact that you turn the key a couple times, points to a pump issue because basically it is priming the system until it has enough pressure to actually start the truck.

Knowing the pressure will help with this so let us know if you have questions and we can go from there.

Thanks
