When starting the car you have to have your foot on the gas now and keep it there at least lightly for about 10 seconds after the car is actually running or it stalls back out. What is wrong with it?

Good morning,

the most common cause for this issue is the idle air control motor on the throttle body.

I attached a picture and a procedure for you to view.

Roy

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the electrical connector from the idle air control valve.

2. Remove the idle air control valve (2) attaching screws.

3. Remove the idle air control valve.

4. Remove the idle air control valve O-ring.
