Trouble codes P16CF and P16DO

OBDII plugged in and showed codes P16CF and P16DO.
Hit the clear code, it cleared two codes, but would not clear permanent codes. Engine light is still on.

That code is for the rocker arm oil control valve failure. Here are the diagrams so you can replace the part and clear the codes:
