2005 Chevy Malibu

Hi, the check engine light recently came on in my 05 Chevy Malibu. I took it to chain Auto Part store and they ran a test and said it needed to be taken to a mechanic. I would like to get a few possiblities as to what the problem could be 1. Before I do same. This is what the troubleshooting receipt said:

Definition:
EVAP Flow During a Non-Purge Condition

Explanation:
The ECM has detected pressure in the EVAP system a non-purge condition

Probable causes:

1) Purge or vent solenoid failure
2) Plugegd EVAP canister condition
3) Failed EVAP Pressure Sensor

First thing you should do is check all the hoses first. Damaged or missing hoses are often the cause of many problems. If thats not the case, the job would consist of Cleaning or replacing the cannister. Check/ Replace the pressure sensor and check/replace vent solenoid. If codes are correct. The problems in there somewhere.
