Transmission will not shift out of first gear

My automatic transmission will not shift out of first gear. I have changed the strainer, and the filter. I have also changed the fluid. When I try and shift manually it still does not shift out of first gear. Reverse, and neutral works fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You may have an internal problem with the valve body, if line pressure and manual shift is not working, it sounds as if there is something mechanical at fault, this will require a trans specialist to do a first hand inspection.
