The van does not Move when the transmission is in reverse?

So, I had problem in my van listed above, I can’t get the transmission to reverse I pressed the side button in the shifter I'm pushing it up it basically doesn't move I'm stuck at the D shift and the manual transmission part only, so I need someone to help me with this.
