(This only happens when I turn)
Rather I am at a complete stop and turn or slowing going around a turn. When I go to push the fuel pedal the transmission stalls in neutral then slams into gear hard. I plugged a scanner in and the only codes it brings up is p0442. Which is says small leak in the EVAP. Cannot find the leak. Would a small leak in the EVAP system cause my transmission to do that?

Good evening.

No, the 442 is not connected to the transmission at all. it is part of the EVAP system and a smoke test needs to be done to locate the leak.

As far as the transmission, I would drop the pan and change the oil and filter. A clogged filter will cause this issue.

Start there.
