The car when in drive mode sputters. It was driven very low on fuel for long periods of time and also the mounts of the engine need changing. I saw some black deposits on one of the injectors, can this be a main problem source? The plugs were changed even two of the suspected coil packs. I want to know if the injectors can cause it to misfire also? Thank you.

It could be very well the problem if the engine does not run right neither will transmission. scan for codes and check fuel pressure first auto parts rent gauge and will scan for free. the mount being bad may have something to do with it as well. See link.
