Truck has gone through five transmissions in just 24,000 miles

When I bought this truck it had 40,000 now it has 64,000 and it's going on it's fifth transmission. I don't tow or anything with this truck, truly regret getting a Chevrolet have always been a Ford man. Any suggestions? I have heard maybe a software update, not sure anymore.

New, and they put a bigger cooler in, as well. No that's the strange thing, a code came up to replace the gas cap but my mechanic found the shavings in the fluid again so back to the transmission shop.

Okay, sounds like you need to have the lines flushed out. If they did not flush the cooler correctly, the metal will get into the replacement transmission.
