Start from the beginning I got in a wreck or headlight was replaced with the wrong headlight come find out the TIPM was getting wet, and my wiper stopped working and I figured that out made it home. The next day I took the TIPM out dried it out replaced it and it I was stuck in limp mode from there I tested relay we had power at one leg of the relay did more research took the relay out found out I had power at
two legs of the relay. When I turn the key on the power would come on and then go off on the second leg and then one leg was constant. When I put the relay in and put power to the relay to see if I was getting power down to the computer, it was getting power at the other leg of the relay that goes down to the computer but coming out of the TIPM there's no power. I tested directly behind a TIPM the leg that comes out of the TIPM where the wire goes to the computer and there was no power there but it's power on top of the TIPM where the relay goes but not at the wire connection underneath were the wire connector goes to the computer. Would you say that the TIPM is bad?

Yes, the fact that it got wet is not good, the TIPM is a delicate part which goes out frequently. To be sure you should do a CAN scan which may show codes to help point to TIPM failure. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Here is how to replace the TIPM which is easy because it self-programs itself. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
