Hello,

That calls for a Group #34 with a minimum of 600 CCA. Here is a guide to help you install the battery.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

While drving my car this morning on the freeway - as I excerlerated to a faster speed (70mph) the battery light turned on. I purchased the battery a little over a year ago.

When I stopped to get gas and turned the car back on, the battery light turned off.

Ok, the battery light usually indicates a charging problem. Have your local auto parts store check the charging system.

I don't remember when I bought my last car battery.

How can I tell how old it is?

You can tell by one or two things yourself, by the date on the battery, or receipt. If your worried about its not working for any reason, charge it slowly, overnight or replace it and have a spare. ok You can buy a load tester just for this reason. It will help to test your starting, and charging systems for all your future battery needs. ok If you buy a new one, it should have little pull out date spots.

The batteries don't come in dimension sizes but group sizes and cold cranking amp size. So from the factory, the 2001 Caravan came with a 740 CCA size battery which puts in it group size 34. You can search these batteries and find a lot of different options. Most are in the 800 cold cranking amp range which is just fine for this engine.

Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks.
