When starting the car for the first time in a day all is okay with shifting from park to reverse and to drive after a few hours of running errands. However, when the vehicle is hot for some reason when backing out of a parking space when shifting to drive it will not shift, everything else will works; reverse, park, and neutral, but trying to shift it in drive it will not take. Almost as if the vehicle is on neutral. I have changed plates, cleaned the valve body and changed the pressure point on the TCM and still nothing. Fluids are also good.

Good morning,

This sounds like a valve body issue.

Did you remove the valve body and take every valve out and make sure the bores are clean and not scored?

Also, the front pump. There is a pressure valve in the front pump that is a common failure.

Yes, took valve body apart and bought a repair kit for it there was one valve that looked different that I left the way it was because didn't know if that needed to be changed. The first image is the piece that was already there and didn't know if I needed to change to the other on image 2. Also, when I tried to put tips with rubber ring it would go through kept getting stuck.

I left the other end tips on because they still worked, or maybe should I put in the new pieces, but I don't know what kind of grease to use to make valve move with new tips and rubber rings. A video on YouTube and the guy on there did it with no problem.

This may be the actual problem.

We use Vaseline jelly. Good lubricant.

I have a problem with the Lexus 430 LS gear model 2001. When replacing the rear gear, the car does not respond sometimes and is normal after the movement when the engine is warming up and when the brakes are used, a thrust sound appears in the gear.

Good morning,

Can you explain what the ring gear is?

Have you had the codes checked?

I would start by changing the fluid. If the fluid is dirty, it could cause this issue.
