I really need your advise since you seem to know my car. Sounded like a transmission or torque converter problem so I had the transmission worked on.

Now it is still same problem again. Also when it is like that I can put it into neutral and try to gun the engine and it seems like it doesn't have any power to rev high at all. It only happens once in awhile and not all the time.

Good evening,

When you had the transmission worked on, what did they do and what was the fix at that time?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/automatic-transmission-problems

Does it shift correctly? Are there any delays going into gear?

Please give me as much information as you can.

They said they rebuilt it and also gave me a new torque converter.

It works fine when it is cool. Shifting gears. It seems to happen when it is hot out or after driving it for awhile. I can feel the loss of power when it happens and then it will shift hard or not at all. I pull over and wait a minute and start it again and it works fine all over again. Shifting gears and power to the engine.

Okay, this should be covered under warranty.

How long since this work was done?

Yes, from your description, it sounds like the transmission again.

Take it back and make sure they drive it and feel the same thing you feel.
