Sometimes it will stay on no longer 4 minutes. Other times it will stay on the whole time I'm driving. What causes this to come on the vehicle listed above? The past two times this had happened, the check light engine came on. Something about the emission gasket sensor.

Hi,

This is going to be different than the check engine light. This has to do with your traction control system. We need to check codes and see what it is telling us. More than likely this is a speed sensor issue but again this would just be a guess without the codes.

If you can get the codes then most parts stores will pull them for you free of charge. Let me know what they are and we can go from there. Just make sure they can communicate with the ABS module because that is where these codes will be. Thanks

Hi,

This code is for the Intake Cam shaft sensor on bank 1. Do you know if the code reader was able to read codes from an ABS module? If not, then it just would not give them from the ABS. Also, if it is able to, did you check codes when the lights were on? If the lights were off, it is a chance that these codes will clear after a couple good trips with no incident.

Basically, let's just scan it again when the lights are on and just double check it is capable of communicating with an ABS.

Without this info, we are just guessing and unfortunately there are hundreds of possible causes.

I'm not sure if the scan was able to from the ABS module. The person at AutoZone didn't know. Another code popped up and it was P0014.

Okay. If they didn't know then the safe answer is no it couldn't. This other DTC is another cam shaft position sensor code. Again this could cause some issues but it won't cause these lights to come on. This would cause a check engine light not traction control lights.

Unfortunately, we are going to need to find a parts store that can pull ABS codes or take it to a shop that can do that.
