I recently purchased a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with 81k miles and have noticed that when coming to a red light and remaining stopped, the front end of the truck seems to vibrate quite a bit. When the truck is switched to Neutral, the vibration immediately ceases. When returned to Drive vibration begins again. Any ideas on what the problem might be? THX

Hello,

This sounds like it could be faulty motor mounts.
Overtime the motor mount bushing will wear off.
When the motor mounts wear off it will allow the engine to move excessive amount. When that happens you will get vibration.
Usually the engine will move more when in drive, but in neutral it will typically feel smoother.
