We recently replaced the tires thinking a bumping was a bad tire however that did not solve the problem. We took a trip of about 3000 miles and upon return the car started vibrating when you try to accelerate. Transmission seems to be shifting properly. Maybe wheen bearing, u joint or motor support?

thanks

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

Do you feel this vibration/ bump in the steering or the body?

I feel it more in the body. It does not feel as though it is in the front wheels. It shows up more when you attempt to accelerate before the transmission downshifts to increase speed. It's almost like trying to accelerate with a standard shift while going real slow and not down shifting to increase rpm. Like lugging the engine. We have been having a slight bumping for some time at about 70mph slower or faster it goes away. It happened with 2 different sets of tires.
