2001 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hello my toyota just wont speed up when I push the accelerator pedal I have to slam my foot on the pedal to actually make it go some times and also when it dosent move it starts to cut out then it would go a bit then it would happen again can you please help me I love this car thank you

Check and test the throttle positon, mass airflow and vehicle spped sensors. Also check the exhaust system for restriction to rule the catalytic converter and also test the EGR valve.
