1999 Toyota Corolla When I trun on AC- it makes noise

Air Conditioning problem
1999 Toyota Corolla V8 Automatic 120000 miles

When I turn on AC, it makes noise. AC is working fine, keeping low/desired temp. Noise increase if we increase the fan speed. For this reason I always prefer to use at low fan speed which generates low noise.

I don't know much about its internal.

It an knock, just once before I attempt to start. In future attempt for start again it knocks (just a single sound) Then as it is and no car starting.
If starter movement happens then no knock and it starts the car.

Most likely the fan on the motor is making the noise, it may be loose on shaft.
