I am writing you regarding my toyota corolla VE car. I had a terrible shaking in my car last week but I couldn't tell from where it goes and the Check engine signal comes out. But I kept driving the car without taking any care of the problem. The shaking start to be more and more and when I press more gas I was feeling like the car taking too much air and the didnt take too much gas. Finally my friend came to my house and he checked it, he found out that I didn't have any oil in my engine not even a little dribling. So we went and bought 5 liters of oil + an oil treatment bottle and we filled the car with 4.5 L + and kept it for 4 hours than we filled it with the oil treatment. It is going better now but still the check engine signal is on, and a little bit shaking when I press more gas.

So, what would you suggest me to do? Is there any kind of lubricant to put or I am totally screwed up? Should I also change the spark plugs?

Thank you for your response.

Kind Regards

I would not put any more money into it untill the extend of the damage is found.

Running the engine without oil can damage main/cam/rod bearings, score cylinder walls and a whole bunch of other problems.

You can try a compression test to see how much cylinder damage occurred. Check the enginge code with a scanner.

The shaking is probably metal to metal contact and cannot be repaired with oil supplements.
You might try some of the oil treatments, you have nothing to lose except the cost of the supplement.

You will prpbably wind up replacing the engine (rebuild/remanufacture/used).
