My corolla is making a nasty grinding sound when I turn left. I only hear the noise when I am driving at lower speeds.
I've had the wheel bearing replaced (a month ago) and I've had the power steering fluid level checked
Do you
have the same problem?

Look at outer CV boots, check for tears/leaking lubricant.

CV axles fail (generally) because the boots get torn by road debris and lubricant leaks out and allows water in, causing eventual metal to metal contact and joint failure.

Under the right conditions, it can sieze.
