I was woundering, if my car weighs more than 2,000 pounds. Is it safe to lift it up and put it on jack stands that say 2 ton?

Hi there,

The distributed weight is nowhere near the max loading of the stand, just as long as you use them on firm level surface, and place them under appropriate jacking points, you will not have a problem.
