1995 Toyota Corolla igniton

My car won't always start I have to turn the key several times for it to turn over I don't think its making a connection somewhere what should I try?

When you turn key to On- do you see all the lights that normally comes On-if not double check the battery terminals connections make sure its super clean and tight and use corrosion protection. Comeback after you completed the above-I'll br waiting

Battery terminals are good and yes everything else comes on

Do you have a distributor or DIS ignition system? If it has a distributor turn key On and Off a couple times with a helper and be checking power at the positive terminal of the coil every time the key is On. If you're missing power at imes while key is On-its most likely the igniton switch.

Try this use a jumper wire from battery positive post to the coil positive terminal and see whether it'll start right up-if so replace the ignition switch.
