What could be the cause of the oil leaking

Hi there,

can you give me any indication as to roughly where on the engine or the transmission the oil leak may be and is it black or red oil leaking?

It leaks from the passenger side, out the bottom of the car.
And it leaks when the car is not running. The oil was a light brown color.

Hi there,

Could be a front crank shaft oil seal r the oil pump, check the front of the engine and look at the top around the rocker cover as well, look for the highest point that you can see oil, you may need to wash the engine down and check after a short run for fresh leaks.
