1993 Toyota Corolla burning oil

My Corolla is burning through 2-3 quarts of oil every month. What might be the cause and what is the cost of possible repairs? Thanks

What you need to do here to determine the problem is do a compression check and follow it with a cylinder leak test to pin point where-could be valve seals/stems/guide/rings/cylinder wear -For the cost it varies with location-hourly labor rate could be $70.00-$130.00 USD per hr.
